Experiment with spaces, give them new forms following my imagination. I know what my sister's lounge looks like. I know what my lounge looks like. If they told me to represent them many years later, I could draw them with my eyes closed.
But is it precisely the exact representation that the viewer claims to have? Is that really what he's looking for? Or does he want to settle in some way inside the cockpit of the illustrator's thoughts?
Starting from a known space I wanted to go in search of what that space represents for me. Some colors that I attribute to that place at that particular moment when I draw it. Fundamental objects that represent for me the landscape and space of my sister's lounge.
Anyone looking at this drawing will probably see a perspective with different objects of very similar colors. And my sister, will she be able to recognize her lounge through my eyes?
